About these terms
This website is run by G&B Gas Safe. By using it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. We may update these terms from time to time, and the version on this page is the one that applies.
Quotes
A Quick Quote request is an enquiry, not a contract. Any price we give is based on the information you provide. Where a job cannot be priced properly without seeing it, we will say so and arrange a visit. A quote becomes an agreement only when you accept it in writing.
If we find something during the work that changes the job, such as hidden damage under a floor or a part that has failed since the quote, we will stop, explain it and agree any change with you before carrying on.
Gas work
Gas work is carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers. If an appliance is found to be unsafe, the engineer is required to follow the industry procedure for unsafe situations, which can include disconnecting the appliance with your permission. This is for your safety and is not optional.
Access and appointments
Please make sure we can reach the areas we need to work on, including the boiler, stopcock, meter and any loft or under-floor space. If we cannot get access at an agreed time, we will contact you to rearrange.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have as a consumer under UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015. We are not responsible for losses caused by using this website that were not reasonably foreseeable.
